Irregularity

Knitting a serenade
from vibrations, the fiddle
thickens the air.

By the metal door
noise squats and waits
as it’s replaced, curses all

intervals, symmetry,
clockwork of waves,
echoing caves: prefers

nervous saccade,
the well child
gasping suddenly, falling ill.
